DC Disconnects
Xantrex makes DC input safety a simple matter with a complete line of DC disconnects and breakers. The high amperage DC breaker is housed within a powder coated enclosure with conduit knockouts for connection to the inverter, batteries, and other DC sources. DC disconnects are simple to install and meet all electrical code requirements for appropriate circuit protection.

- As a DC Disconnect this breaker provides an easy and convenient way to insolate the inverter and battery.
- Has no exposed hot terminals or removable parts that can be damaged.
- Extremely low voltage drop -less than most fuses or current shunts.
- Easy to reset -makes troubleshooting a safe and inexpensive process.
Options
- Optional second main breaker can be field installed when expanding to dual inverter systems.
- Optional bonding block bonds the the negative conductor to the grounding system at a single point.
- Additional 60 amp breakers allow for a solar array disconnect.
- Additional 15 or 20 amp breakers ideal for small DC loads or equipment room lights, mount on the side of the DC Disconnect enclosure.
- TM500A shunt can be installed in the DC175 or DC250 enclosure to allow battery monitoring.
